The Vietnamese Long River acts as a gateway to the major towns and cities within Vietnam whilst also providing locals with means of transport and trading goods.
Conversation
An innovative project took us to Vietnam's fascinating rivers where we transformed traditional Vietnamese longboats into engaging and dual purpose vacation homes.
The sole aim of this project was to create a vessel that would breath and transform along the Nine Dragons(rivers), highlighting the transparency of its programming.
Studio Approach
In designing the boat, we took into account its primary function as a conventional goods vessel as well as its secondary function as a vacation vessel. Our design and approach incorporated both functional and luxury elements to create a multi-functional and versatile space
